Start at St Mary's church.

Listen to the first track.

St Mary's church was built between 1400 & 1476, it is one of the oldest buildings in Todmorden. On it's eastern side it boasts a window commemorating John Fielden. To the left you can see the White Hart, formerly the New Inn. A pub has been on this site since 1720.

Once you've listened to the track continue with your journey.

Looking at the church, turn to your right and walk to the junction. Turn left towards the White Hart pub. Walk up the steps in front of you and turn left at the top. If you would like to avoid the steps, walk past the front of the pub and follow the road around to the left. Carry on past the Queen Hotel into the railway station car park. Walk through the car park onto the path at the far end.

Accessible Route Information: The path entrance is a restricted width of 1 metre.

This is a good place to listen to the next track.
