Sniff the air and you’ll soon know if you are in the right place. The water system at Callis Bridge is very complicated.
Once you've listened to the track continue your journey.
Cross the main road, turn right and then immediately left under the railway arch by the post box, to the area called UNDERBANK. The paved packhorse path straight ahead is the Pennine Way. Two interesting buildings to look out for are Lacy House - the first building on your right built in 1793 - and Temple, which was built about 50 years later.Turn left and walk along Underbank Avenue with the railway on your left. Half way along on your right you will see a large stone dwelling which is Underbank Hall.
Here is a good place to listen to the next track.
